"National Exhibition of Children's Science Fictions and Models-2023" Held in DPRK

Pyongyang, June 8 (KCNA) -- The "National Exhibition of Children's Science Fictions and Models-2023" took place at the Sci-Tech Complex in the DPRK from June 2 to 7 on the occasion of the 77th anniversary of the founding of the Korean Children's Union (KCU).

On display at the venue for the exhibition were more than 310 various science fictions and models presented by schoolchildren who are studying hard with the great ambition to become world-famous inventors and scientists at the sunny schools by the favor of the socialist educational system.

All the exhibits, which attracted the visitors' attention for their novel and original ideas, reflect the precious patriotism of schoolchildren determined to make their country, the best one in the world, more powerful by conquering the unknown science world.

Pyongyang Municipality took the special place and North Hamgyong Province the first place in the team standings.

A closing ceremony took place on June 7.

Mun Chol, chairman of the Central Committee of the Socialist Patriotic Youth League, made a closing speech. -0-
