Pyongyang, May 5 (KCNA) -- Following are major news items and articles in Rodong Sinmun, a leading newspaper of the DPRK, on Monday:

- An article marks the 10th anniversary of "Let Us Further Enhance the Role of the Working People's Organizations by Improving and Intensifying the Party Guidance to Their Work", a historic letter sent by the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un to the participants in the workshop of officials of the department of the working people's organizations of the Workers' Party of Korea.

- Another article is dedicated to the 89th anniversary of the Association for the Restoration of the Fatherland, the first anti-Japanese national united front organization of Korea which was founded by President Kim Il Sung in the period of the anti-Japanese armed struggle.

- An article deals with the birth of the Korean-style socialist system which holds a shining place in the 80-year history of the WPK.
