Pyongyang, December 29 (KCNA) -- Publishing houses of the DPRK have brought out calendars on the occasion of the New Year 2025.

The Social Science Book Publishing House carried art pieces including oil painting "Joy of Rimhung Street" on the calendar, showing the stirring era when the people's dreams and ideals are translated into reality of prosperity and civilization.

The Industrial Publishing House and the Agricultural Publishing House in the calendars reflected the fact that the great heyday of construction symbolic of the new era of the Juche revolution was ushered in and monumental edifices startling the world people are built in all parts of the country.

The February 16 Art Education Publishing House carried the absolute weaponry of the armed forces of the DPRK symbolic of the strongest absolute might of the world, and the Cheyuk Sinmun Office reflected in the calendars the figures of sportspersons who demonstrated the dignity and prestige of the DPRK by winning gold medals.

There are also calendars depicting ceramic, flower and stone works showing the peculiar idea and delicate skills. -0-
