Pyongyang, May 27 (KCNA) -- Units of general education across the DPRK are directing main efforts to raising the practical ability of students.

The new teaching methods of natural science subjects created by Chongryu Senior Middle School in Taedonggang District, Pyongyang Municipality, prove effective in educational practice as they help students find out the problems correctly and understand the essence and law of things and phenomena.

The Namgyo Senior Middle School in Sosong District, Pyongyang Municipality, has built the experiencing classrooms for teaching with various patterns and put their operation on a normal basis to improve the students' ability.

Munhung Senior Middle School in Taedonggang District, Pyongyang Municipality, has provided equipment for the car laboratory and strengthened education to help students acquire more than one technical skill during school period.

The Hanggu Senior Middle School in Hanggu District, Nampho Municipality, provides the students with reagents and apparatuses necessary for their experiments and practice and turns the teaching of various subjects into developmental, search and discussion-style teaching methods to make the students become active learners and searchers.

Hero Pyoksong Senior Middle School in Pyoksong County and Ryongwol Senior Middle School in Sinwon County, South Hwanghae Province, are creating and introducing advantageous teaching methods to prepare students to be talents. -0-
