Pyongyang, May 27 (KCNA) -- The workers of the Kumyagang Power Station No. 2 in the DPRK are boosting the electricity production.
The station has turned out much more electricity than planned every day to satisfy the demands of newly-built regional-industry factories and township and its surrounding farms and supply enough water for irrigation to the paddy and non-paddy fields in the region.
It has grasped the actual state of the dam, structures and generator room and organized passing-on technique meeting and demonstration in a planned way to put the water control on a scientific basis. It is also repairing embankments and retaining walls in a qualitative way.
Through regular sci-tech study, the station made all its employees acquire the ability to remove faults of equipment by themselves and introduced more than 10 valuable technical innovation proposals conducive to the automation of production lines and the stability of the integrated power management system. -0-
