Pyongyang, January 31 (KCNA) -- The forestry sector of the DPRK fulfilled its January plan for timber production ahead of schedule.
Forestry and mine timber production stations of the Ryanggang Provincial Forestry Management Bureau stood in the vanguard of increased production drive. In particular, officials and workers of Paekam and Yonam mine timber production stations have over-fulfilled their daily timber production plans by introducing efficient working methods and raising the operation rate of equipment like motor saw.
Those of Kangwon, Jagang and South Hamgyong provincial forestry management bureaus boosted the timber production by concentrating manpower on the felling places.
Those of North and South Phyongan and North Hamgyong provincial forestry management bureaus, too, have produced much more timber than planned every day. -0-
