Pyongyang, December 17 (KCNA) -- The ardent desire of the Central Committee of the great Workers' Party of Korea has brought about stirring events in different parts of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, which are demonstrating the vigorous transformation in socialist Korea. Against this backdrop, regional-industry factories were inaugurated in Hwangju County, North Hwanghae Province.

An inauguration ceremony of the regional-industry factories in Hwangju County for the Regional Development 20×10 Policy took place on December 16.

Present at the ceremony were leading officials of the Party, government and armed forces organs, members of the central leadership body of the Party in Pyongyang Municipality, chief secretaries of the provincial committees of the WPK, officials of North Hwanghae Province and Hwangju County, working people and service personnel of the construction units.

Ri Il Hwan, secretary of the Central Committee of the WPK, addressed the ceremony.

The speaker said that Hwangju County, too, finished the projects in the year of their groundbreaking and greeted the great auspicious event of their inauguration thanks to the energetic guidance of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, who gave priority to the construction for the regional people and meticulously led it to make new pioneering and development in all aspects including design, construction and production techniques.

He said that the modern regional-industry factories are a precious fruition of the unique ideas and devotion of Kim Jong Un who ushers in an era of epochal transformation to provide the regional people with a new happy life through his profound thought and energetic leadership with his ardent love for the people.

Jo Yong Won and Ri Il Hwan, secretaries of the Central Committee of the WPK, and No Kwang Chol, minister of National Defence of the DPRK, cut the inauguration tape.

Fireworks were set off and a large number of balloons rose up over the venue of the inauguration ceremony to beautifully decorate the sky of December.

After the inauguration ceremony, leading officials of the Party, government and armed forces organs went round the regional-industry factories together with the participants.

People in the county were delighted to see various kinds of condiments, confectionery, daily necessities and clothes produced at the modern regional-industry factories with their county trademarks of "Kindungbol" and "Hwangjuchon".

Thak Chol Hyok, chairman of the Hwangju County People's Committee, said that the precious creations and valuable wealth representing the new era of regional change have been built in his place, extending thanks to Kim Jong Un for providing without fail the inauguration season of the smart factories in which all the regional people are waiting and welcoming every year,

He said that he would ensure the county's demand by normalizing production, put efforts into developing and producing more specialties favoured by the people, regarding it as the lifeline to improve quality, and thus fulfill his responsibility and duty to ensure that the modern regional-industry factories would serve as a strong fortress and fruitful asset for improving the people's standard of living.

The faces of the residents also beamed with joy. They said that seeing on newspapers and TV screens people being pleased to purchase goods produced at the newly-built regional-industry factories, they envied them but such factories have been built in their region, too.

That evening there was a fireworks display to celebrate the inauguration of regional-industry factories. -0-
