Pyongyang, March 27 (KCNA) -- Han Il Ryong, a marathoner of the Amnokgang Sports Club, is one of the ten best players of the DPRK for 2025.

He set a new record in the men's marathon of the 20th Asian Marathon Championships and obtained the trophy and gold medal. He also won the men's 5 000 meter race of the Chinese Taipei Athletics Open 2025.

Born in Rinsan County, North Hwanghae Province, he started learning basic track-and-field technology when he was eleven years old.

As a player of the Amnokgang Sports Club, he distinguished himself in domestic games, drawing the attention of experts and amateurs.

He proved successful in international games including the men's marathon of the 19th Asian Games. He was one of the best ten players of the DPRK for 2023. -0-
