Pyongyang, June 17 (KCNA) -- The Pukchang Thermal Power Complex is making successes in the revitalization of production by relying on its own technical force.

The complex is pushing ahead with its management and technical guidance to establish a plan discipline and increase the capacity of the existing generating equipment.

While pushing forward the technical updating of overall processes by mobilizing the creative ingenuity of the masses, the complex has found out reserves for increased production and economy to lower the standard of material consumption per unit and produce more electricity.

It has introduced an automatic control system of coal feeding amount into generators and thus further increased the combustion efficiency while saving a lot of fuel.

It has solved the scientific and technological problems arising in high-frequency heat treatment and introduced the feeding motor speed control system to increase the processing accuracy and productivity.

The complex has intensified the technical study according to occupations to raise the technical and practical level of the operators and made the engineers conduct inspection in a responsible manner, thus keeping the generating equipment in full-capacity operation. -0-
