Pyongyang, July 13 (KCNA) -- The DPRK government hosted a reception at Myongsasimni Hotel in the Wonsan Kalma Coastal Tourist Area on the evening of July 12 in welcome of Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov on a visit to the DPRK.

Present there on invitation were Andrei Rudenko, vice-minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, and his party, Aleksandr Matsegora, Russian ambassador to the DPRK, and his embassy officials.

Foreign Minister of the DPRK Choe Son Hui, Vice-Minister Kim Jong Gyu and other officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs were on hand.

Speeches were made by Choe Son Hui and Sergei Lavrov.

The participants in the reception toasted the eternal prosperity of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and the Russian Federation, the boundless happiness and beautiful future of the peoples of the two countries and the good health of the top leaders of the two countries.

The reception was held in a friendly and amicable atmosphere. -0-
