Chinese Party and Government Delegation Visits War Museum

Pyongyang, July 28 (KCNA) -- The party and government delegation of the People's Republic of China (PRC) led by Li Hongzhong, member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and vice-chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of the PRC, which is on a visit to the DPRK to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the war victory, visited the Victorious Fatherland Liberation War Museum on July 27.

Accompanying the delegation were Mun Song Hyok, vice department director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, and Wang Yajun, Chinese ambassador to the DPRK.

The visitors laid a bouquet before the Monument to the Fatherland Liberation War Martyrs newly built in the entrance to the museum and observed a moment's silence in memory of the brave soldiers of great years.

They went round the main theme sculpture "Victory" of the Monument to the Victorious Fatherland Liberation War and the exhibition of captured arms showing the defeat of the U.S. imperialist aggressors, and expressed admiration at the undying feats of the heroic Korean People's Army.

The guests looked round the Chinese People's Volunteers Hall reminding one of the history of fraternal friendship and militant unity in which the armies and peoples of the DPRK and China repelled the imperialist aggression while sharing life and death.

Li Hongzhong wrote in the visitor's book:
