Pyongyang, February 29 (KCNA) -- The title of ten best teachers for 2023 was conferred on educators who made great contributions to the education of the rising generation and the training of talents.
Those educators have performed distinguished feats in the work for the development of the country's education with a noble sense of duty as career revolutionaries responsible for the future of the country, clear conscience as educators and high qualifications.
The awarding ceremony took place at the People's Palace of Culture on Feb. 28.
Present there were Jon Sung Guk, vice-premier of the Cabinet, and officials and teachers in the field of education in Pyongyang Municipality.
A certificate of the ten best teachers for 2023 was awarded to Mun Chol Nam, head of the Natural Science Group Guidance Department at Mangyongdae Revolutionary School, Kim Jong Im, a teacher of the Kaeson Kindergarten in Moranbong District affiliated to Pyongyang Teachers Training College, Pang Un Hui, section chief of Pyongyang Foreign Languages School, Cha Kyong Hui, a teacher of Unha Primary School in Sariwon City, Kim In Hui, a teacher of Suyang Senior Middle School in Haeju City, Kim Chun Song, section chief of Wonsan Middle School for Orphans, Ri Sun Bok, a teacher of Hwanggok Primary School in Myongchon County, Nam Chon Il, department head of Rason Secondary School No. 1, Pak Se Chol, a guidance teacher of the Scientific Research Department of Sinuiju Cha Kwang Su University of Education, and Han Jong Hwa, dean of the Environment Science Faculty of Sariwon Ri Kye Sun University of Education.
