Pyongyang, August 9 (KCNA) -- A national sci-tech presentation and exhibition in the field of welding took place at the Welding Institute of the State Academy of Sciences from August 6 to 8 under the sponsorship of the Korean Welding Society of the C.C., General Federation of Science and Technology of Korea.

Present there were officials, teachers, researchers, three-revolution team members and others in the field of welding. At the presentation there were discussion and lecture on more than 70 sci-tech proposals and evaluation of the working efficiency of welding rods.

On display at the exhibition were welding rods of diverse uses, raw and other materials, machinery and all sorts of jigs and equipment necessary for the production.

Certificates and relevant prizes were awarded to those who presented excellent proposals at the presentation and exhibition. -0-
