Pyongyang, August 16 (KCNA) -- The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un received a congratulatory letter from the General Association of Koreans in China on August 15 on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of Korea's liberation.

The General Association of Koreans in China in its congratulatory letter extended the highest glory and warmest congratulations to the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who is demonstrating the mightiness of Juche Korea before the world with his rare wisdom and outstanding leadership, paying the highest tribute to President Kim Il Sung, the benefactor of national liberation and founder of socialist Korea, with the boundless reverence of the officials of the general association and all Koreans in China.

The letter said that Kim Il Sung accomplished the historic cause of national liberation and thus the Korean people under the Japanese imperialists' bayonet could greet a radical turn in carving out its destiny and the country could pave a broad avenue to building a new country where the people are the masters under the uplifted banner of independence.

The letter stressed that the immortal exploits of the President who saved the country and set an example in the world history of struggle for national liberation would shine forever in the history of the country.

It said that Chairman Kim Jong Il defended the socialist motherland of Juche built by the President and the well-being of the people, laid a solid foundation for the people's happiness and performed the immortal feats of winning victory after victory in the anti-imperialist, anti-U.S. showdown with the DPRK.

The letter said that Kim Jong Un, the peerlessly great man, is realizing the patriotic desire of the President and the Chairman into a brilliant reality and turning the DPRK into the most powerful country admired by the world and a socialist paradise where the people's dreams and ideals come true.

The letter wished Kim Jong Un good health, the great sun of Juche Korea and benevolent father of Koreans in China, reflecting the unanimous desire of all Koreans in China. -0-
