New Houses Built in North Phyongan Province of DPRK

Pyongyang, June 21 (KCNA) -- New modern houses have been built at the Songsa Farm in Pyokdong County, North Phyongan Province, the DPRK.

Single- and low-storied and terraced houses for hundreds of families show the reality of the ever-changing socialist cultural countryside.

Present at the ceremony for moving into those houses were Ryu Song Hyok, secretary of the North Phyongan Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, and officials builders in the county and agricultural workers.

Choe Yong Chol, chairman of the North Phyongan Provincial People's Committee, made a congratulatory address.

Licenses for the use of new houses were handed over and speeches were made there.

When the moving into new houses began, the village was immersed in a festive mood and the agricultural workers were filled with confidence in the rosy future to be more prosperous under the WPK policy.
