Pyongyang, February 4 (KCNA) -- Cities and counties in North Hwanghae Province are putting spurs to strengthening the material and technical foundations of Koryo medicine pharmaceutical factories, according to Rodong Sinmun.

The province organized visits and training courses to generalize the successes and experience gained at advanced units while building up the Sariwon Koryo Medicine Pharmaceutical Factory as a model. And it dispatched working officials to cities and counties to ensure that they carry on projects as required by the standard design and intensify the technical guidance for putting the production processes on a GMP basis.

The provincial Koryo medicine production management bureau, in contact with relevant units, pushed ahead with the work to manufacture and secure various kinds of production equipment and supply them to cities and counties.

Singye County put production lines on a germ-free and dust-free basis of a higher level while ensuring the quality of buildings. Sinphyong County stepped up the modernization of production lines with the main emphasis on producing quality Koryo medicines by using abundant herbal resources.

Other cities and counties laid the foundations for mass-producing Koryo medicines. -0-
