Pyongyang, February 13 (KCNA) -- 100-odd young people in Nampho Municipality of the DPRK have volunteered to work at the Ansok Farm in Onchon County, a reclaimed tideland farm.
Youth league officials in Ryonggang County were in the van of the volunteers.
They are all filled with the revolutionary zeal and spirit to dynamically conduct the movement of youth workteams and sub-workteams at the vast reclaimed tideland.
The volunteers are from Onchon County and Chollima, Kangso, Hanggu, Taean and Waudo districts.
A ceremony to cheer the volunteers took place at the Nampho Municipal Art Theatre on February 12.
Present there were Ri Jae Nam, chief secretary of the Nampho Municipal Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Song Sung Chol, chairman of the Nampho Municipal People's Committee, other officials concerned, youth league officials and young people.
A congratulatory address was made to be followed by speeches. The flag of youth workteam was presented to the volunteers.
A congratulatory performance was given and then officials and young people saw off the volunteers, presenting bouquets to them. They headed for the farm under the uplifted flag of their youth workteam. -0-
