Pyongyang, September 7 (KCNA) -- Whenever we look at the national flag of the DPRK, we think of the proud history of the DPRK recorded on the road of victory and glory under the leadership of the peerlessly great men and are convinced of the bright future of our country, which will be more prosperous.

As the national flag illuminates the past, present and tomorrow of the DPRK, and the dignity of the socialist country of Juche and independent people are associated with it, the people of the DPRK could invariably advance straight along the road of victory despite stern trials and difficulties like Mt Paektu which remains unchanged in any storm and stress. They are demonstrating the dignity and might of the DPRK all over the world, single-mindedly upholding the leadership of the Workers' Party of Korea with pure loyalty as the white snow of Mt Paektu.

The national flag of the Republic has been fluttered as a symbol of the victory and dignity of our homeland.
