Pyongyang, January 30 (KCNA) -- Officials and workers of the Munphyong Smeltery in the DPRK have conducted a mass technological innovation movement to make a breakthrough in increasing production from the outset of the year.

The smeltery took foresighted measures to solve the scientific and technological problems arising in equipment and technical management and established a new production line of high-grade oxidized steel to raise the extraction rate of product.

As a result, the waste of raw and other materials was reduced and the daily production score jumped to more than 103 percent. -0-
