Pyongyang, July 28 (KCNA) -- The party and government delegation of the People's Republic of China (PRC) on a visit to the DPRK to attend the celebrations of the 70th anniversary of the victory in the great Fatherland Liberation War visited the Friendship Tower on July 27.

Present there were Mun Song Hyok, vice department director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Pak Myong Ho, vice-minister of Foreign Affairs, and officials concerned.

Members of the guard of honor of the Korean People's Army lined up at the Friendship Tower.

The national anthems of the PRC and the DPRK were played.

A floral basket in the name of the party and government delegation of the PRC was placed at the Friendship Tower.

Written on the ribbons of the floral basket were letters reading "Martyrs of the Chinese People's Volunteers will be immortal".

The participants paid a silent tribute to the memory of the CPV martyrs who dedicated their youth and lives to the just cause of the Korean people against the imperialists' invasion and set a genuine example of militant friendship.

The members of the delegation looked round with deep emotion the interior of the Friendship Tower which was built more wonderfully to display the immutability and invincibility of the DPRK-China friendship on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the war victory.

Li Hongzhong, head of the delegation, wrote in the visitor's book: "Hero will be immortal and friendship will be everlasting". -0-
