Production Goes Up at Complexes in Key Industrial Sector of DPRK

Pyongyang, February 27 (KCNA) -- The production is going up at several complexes of the key industrial sector of the DPRK.

At the Kim Chaek Iron and Steel Complex the daily iron and steel output has risen by 1.5 times on average or 1.7 times at the maximum as compared with the same time of last year.

In February, the workers at the Pukchang Thermal Power Complex have produced hundreds of thousands of more kWh of electricity than planned every day.

Officials and coal miners of the Sunchon Area Youth Coal-mining Complex are successfully carrying out the ambitious coal production goal through a drive for increased production. -0-
