Wonsan Junipers, Natural Monuments of DPRK
Pyongyang, November 5 (KCNA) -- Two Wonsan junipers are standing in front of the building of Wonsan University of Agriculture in Wonsan City, Kangwon Province of the DPRK.
The trees were planted as garden trees in around 1920. They are about 7 m in height, 0.8 m in girth of root neck, 0.5 m in girth of trunk, 2 m from the east to the west and 1 m from the north to the south in crown width.
They are tall among the juniper trees designated as natural monuments of the country.
Wonsan junipers are natural monuments of scenic significance. -0-
