Meeting of Youth and Students Held in DPRK

Pyongyang, July 6 (KCNA) -- Youth and students of the DPRK met at the Central Youth Hall here on Friday to hear the stories about noble virtues of President Kim Il Sung on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of his demise.

Present there were Mun Chol, chairman of the Central Committee of the Socialist Patriotic Youth League, officials of the youth league and youth and students in Pyongyang.

The performers referred to the noble revolutionary career and immortal exploits of the President who devoted his all to the prosperity of the socialist country and happiness of all generations to come.

They said that they could not forget forever the tender-hearted image of the President who put forward the issue of prioritizing the young people as the most important state affair and trained them to be staunch defenders and successors to the socialist cause in the whole period of his revolutionary leadership.

They referred to the noble revolutionary career of the peerlessly great man who devoted his all to the younger generation till the last moments of his great life, making all his efforts to train the schoolchildren into reliable pillars shouldering the future motherland.

They said that the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un has ushered in a great heyday of the development of the Korean youth movement by bringing them up to be patriotic youth with firm faith in socialism.

The participants renewed their firm will to fully display the spirit and mettle of the young vanguard in the struggle for achieving the gigantic changes and development of Korean-style socialism, true to the leadership of Kim Jong Un who is translating the patriotic desire of the peerlessly great men for a powerful country into a proud reality. -0-
