Pyongyang, May 25 (KCNA) -- All the youth shock brigades at coal mines under the Kaechon Area Coal-mining Complex in the DPRK, out in a drive for increased production, have fulfilled their first half-yearly national economic plans.

The Kil Yong Jo Youth Shock Brigade of the Kaechon Coal Mine, the Cha Kwang Su Youth Shock Brigade of the Pongchon Coal Mine and the Kim Kwang Chol Youth Shock Brigade of the Joyang Coal Mine attained their tunneling goals for the first half of the year by early April by ensuring the full-capacity operation of face equipment.

The Cha Kwang Su Youth Shock Brigade of the Jagang Provincial Supply Coal Mine, the O Jung Hup Youth Shock Brigade of the Mujindae Youth Coal Mine and the Kim Jin Youth Shock Brigade of the Sinrip Coal Mine carried out their tunneling tasks to provide good coalfields.

Amid a brisk mass technological innovation movement, rational blasting methods were widely introduced and mass movements were launched. -0-
