Pyongyang, May 6 (KCNA) -- There took place celebration meetings in Laos and Pakistan, round-table talks in Vietnam, Iran and the Czech Republic and lectures in Denmark, Romania and Mexico on the occasion of the 113th birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung.

Speeches were made at the events attended by personages of political parties, governments, parliaments, organizations and institutions and masses of relevant countries.

Personages including a member of the Central Committee of the Pakistan Awami National Party and a senator of Pakistan praised the President as an extraordinary thinker and theoretician, prominent leader in the era of independence and peerless elder statesman who devoted his all to the sacred cause of the freedom and independence of Korea and the human liberation.

They said that President Kim Il Sung performed undying exploits to be recorded in the world history of politics with his profound ideology and theory and gigantic revolutionary practice.

Personages of the Vietnam-DPRK Friendship Association and the International Taekwon-Do Association in Iran expressed their boundless reverence for the President, and the chief of the Danish Group for the Study of the Juche Idea praised the peerlessly great man for liberating the country, building the party, state and army and winning the victory in the war.

The chairman of the Socialist Party of Romania said that the DPRK has proudly emerged a powerful country any hostile forces do not dare provoke, adding this would be unthinkable without the efforts of Comrade Kim Il Sung who devoted his whole life to the prosperity of the country. The chairman noted that the cause of the DPRK people will surely emerge victorious thanks to the seasoned leadership of Comrade Kim Jong Un who is carrying forward the ideas and cause of the preceding leaders without an inch of deflection.

The national leader of the Workers' Party of Mexico referred to the fact that the DPRK is dynamically accelerating the overall development of socialism, demonstrating the dignity of a world military power under the wise guidance of the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un.

Meanwhile, a seminar and other events took place in Indonesia to mark the 60th anniversary of the historic visit of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il to Indonesia. -0-
