Pyongyang, January 27 (KCNA) -- The Sariwon Tannery in North Hwanghae Province of the DPRK has been remodeled.

All its production lines, ranging from raw material feeding to finishing, and surroundings were renovated. This provides another material and technical guarantee for supplying light industrial bases with high-quality leather needed for the production of various kinds of daily necessities.

The tannery was inaugurated with due ceremony on Monday.

Present at the ceremony were officials and working people in the province and Sariwon City and employees of the tannery.

At the end of the ceremony the participants looked round the tannery. -0-
