Pyongyang, October 21 (KCNA) -- Power-generating units in Kangwon Province of the DPRK strive to carry out the tasks for the second half of the year while intensifying technical management to raise the efficiency of generating equipment.

The provincial monthly and quarterly power production plans have been successfully carried out up to now.

Workers and technicians of the Wonsan Army-People Power Station have introduced technical innovations conducive to raising the output of generators and ensuring the normal operation of generating equipment.

The Wonsan Youth Power Station put the water management on a scientific basis and rationalized the load dispatch to equipment while intensifying the check-up and repair of hydraulic structures, and thus increased the power output per-ton of water.

Similar successes have been made at Sepho, Phyonggang and other army-people power stations in the province. -0-
