Pyongyang, November 5 (KCNA) -- The DPRK team won the trophy in the 2024 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup.

It beat its Spanish rival 5:4 (1:1 in the first and second halves, 4:3 in the 11 meter penalty kick) in the finals held on November 3 amid the attention of football experts, fans and spectators across the world.

At the awarding ceremony, the trophy and gold medals were awarded to the DPRK women footballers and the Golden Ball award, the best player prize, to Jon Il Chong. -0-
