Pyongyang, March 28 (KCNA) -- According to Minju Joson, Sinuiju City in North Phyongan Province of the DPRK is stepping up the supply to inhabitants of various kinds of fresh vegetables, produced at the Sinuiju Combined Greenhouse Farm and the Sinuiju Vegetable Science Research Center.

The city has already supplied cucumber, pepper, tomato and other vegetable fruits, leaf vegetables and functional vegetables to orphanage, and primary and secondary schools for orphans. And it is now taking measures to supply them to war veterans and families of disabled soldiers.

In order to ensure that greenhouse vegetables are supplied to the residential households far from the city, it is solving ahead of schedule the problems arising in transport.

It has also urged the relevant units to provide necessary transport containers for preventing greenhouse vegetables from being damaged.

Facilities related to the supply of vegetables are set up everywhere so that the inhabitants can receive vegetables from their residential quarters.

The service facilities in the city are crowded with people being supplied with fresh vegetables. -0-
