Pyongyang, October 24 (KCNA) -- Events took place at the Maritime Territorial Branch Committee and the Amur Regional Branch Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, the Tynda City Group for the Study of the Juche Idea of Russia and the Far East Science Library to celebrate the 79th founding anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea.

Speeches were made at the events attended by personages of relevant units and masses.

The first secretary of the Maritime Territorial Branch Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation said that the WPK has recorded only victory in its long history since its foundation, guided by outstanding leaders.

Such a party enjoying absolute support and trust of the people as the WPK can never be found in the world, he said, adding it is the immortal exploits of the great Comrades Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and the brilliant fruition of the outstanding leadership of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who is creditably carrying forward the cause of the preceding leaders.

The first secretary of the Amur Regional Branch Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation said that the WPK, founded by Comrade Kim Il Sung and built by Comrade Kim Jong Il into an ever-victorious party, has performed a series of world-startling miracles by wisely leading the building of a powerful socialist nation, holding Kim Jong Un as its head.

The chairman and members of the Tynda City Group for the Study of the Juche Idea of Russia praised the exploits the great leaders Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il performed in the building of a Juche-oriented revolutionary party, expressing belief that the Korean people would continue to register great successes in bolstering up self-reliant defence capability and building socialism under the seasoned guidance of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.
