General Secretary of Central Committee of Communist Party of Vietnam To Lam Leaves Pyongyang

Pyongyang, October 12 (KCNA) -- To Lam, general secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, who paid a state visit to the Democratic People's Republic of Korea at the invitation of Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, left Pyongyang by his plane on October 11 after taking part in the celebrations of the 80th founding anniversary of the WPK.

The national flags of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam were fluttering at the flagstaffs of Pyongyang International Airport and the guard of honor of the Korean People's Army lined up at the apron in front of the terminal.

Kim Song Nam, alternate member of the Political Bureau and director of the International Department of the Central Committee of the WPK, and Im Chon Il, vice-minister of the Foreign Affairs of the DPRK, warmly saw him off. -0-
