Pyongyang, May 9 (KCNA) -- The 2025 Spring Commodity Exhibition at the Pyongyang Underground Shop opened with due ceremony on Thursday.

On display there were more than 800 000 pieces of products of over 1 600 kinds produced by more than one hundred units including the Pyongyang Cornstarch Factory, the Pyongyang Condiments Factory, the Phyongsong Unphasan Bag Branch Factory and the fish processing factory of the Chonapho Fishery Research Institute.

 Provincial forwarding wholesale stores and commercial management offices for agricultural products and seafood in North Hamgyong, Kangwon, South Phyongan and North Hwanghae provinces and Nampho Municipality, and foodstuff procurement general shops in cities and counties presented processed wild herbs products, processed marine products, processed mushroom products, ceramics and other products representing their units.

Present at the opening ceremony were officials concerned, and officials and working people of commercial sectors and production units in Pyongyang and provinces. -0-
