Pyongyang, June 11 (KCNA) -- A national photo exhibition "By opening a bright prospect for the development of light industry" opened in Pyongyang, the capital city of the DPRK.

Displayed at the venue of the exhibition are photos dealing with the immortal revolutionary exploits of the respected Comrade General Secretary Kim Jong Un who regards the improvement of the people's standard of living as the most important affair and has devoted all his efforts to the development of light industry of the country.

The photos show the greatness of Comrade Kim Jong Un who provided clear guidelines for radically developing the country's light industry.

On display at the exhibition are also photos intensively showing the development of our light industry making a leap forward day by day under the leadership of the Workers' Party of Korea.

An opening ceremony took place at the Okryu Exhibition House on June 10.

Present there were officials concerned and working people in Pyongyang.

At the opening ceremony, a speaker stressed the need for all the officials, Party members and other working people to devote their patriotic wisdom and enthusiasm to the ongoing general offensive for implementing the decisions of the Party Congress and thus make a tangible contribution to bringing earlier the new era of comprehensive national rejuvenation.

At the end of the ceremony, the participants looked round the venue of the exhibition. -0-
