Pyongyang, December 11 (KCNA) -- Valuable achievements conducive to putting the country on an IT basis have been made in the DPRK amid a campaign for upholding the Party policies with practical successes.

The Economic Information Institute under the Faculty of Economics of Kim Il Sung University developed a standardized integrated management information system "Taean" 3.0 for realizing the integration of information on a sectional and national scale.

The Achim Computer Joint Venture Company developed a computer for electronic procedure, "Achim", capable of connecting to the national network at any place quickly.

The Apnal High Tech Exchange Company developed the navigation information integration management system 1.0 to be applied to all fabrics of life.

The cash machine manufactured by researchers of the Pyongyang Kwangmyong IT Company is popular among its users.

Other research achievements have been made by the IT Institute of Kim Chaek University of Technology, the Pyongyang Mobile Communications Administration and the High Tech Institute of the Pyongyang Information Technology Bureau.

IT products presented by those units were registered on the list of the 2023's 10 best IT products at the national exhibition of IT successes-2023. -0-
