Pyongyang, October 18 (KCNA) -- Koryo medicine production units in different parts of the DPRK are diversifying products.

The Phyongchon Koryo Medicine Pharmaceutical Factory in Pyongyang has produced a traditional Korean medicine, which is good for preventing and treating cerebral thrombosis and improving myocardial ischemia, and various other medicines including golden ginkgo nut hyperlipemia pills on the basis of a scientific analysis.

The Moranbong Koryo Medicine Pharmaceutical Factory is manufacturing medicines efficacious for angina pectoris and the Songyo Koryo Medicine Pharmaceutical Factory is producing effective pills for preventing and treating hepatitis and senile arteriosclerosis.

Similar achievements are being made at the Koryo medicine pharmaceutical factories in North and South Hamgyong provinces and Nampho Municipality. -0-
