Pyongyang, April 3 (KCNA) -- The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, President of the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, sent a reply message to Luong Cuong, president of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, on April 2.

The reply message said:

I express thanks to you for sending warm congratulations to me on my re-assumption of the heavy responsibility as President of the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea at the First Session of the 15th Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK.

I express belief that the friendly and cooperative relations between the DPRK and Vietnam will continue to develop in line with the common socialist cause and in the interests of the two peoples on the basis of the spirit of the agreement reached at the meeting in Pyongyang in October last year. -0-
