Pyongyang, May 22 (KCNA) -- DPRK players, who took the first place at the AFC U-17 Women's Asian Cup 2024, returned home on May 21.

The y scored 24 goals in total, without conceding even a goal, in the games held in Indonesia from May 6 to 19.

They were qualified for the 2024 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup.

They were warmly greeted by Kim Il Guk, minister of Physical Culture and Sports, officials in the sports sector, officials concerned, sportspersons and families at Pyongyang International Airport.

Sportspersons congratulated the players and coaches on their results, putting bays around their necks and presenting with bouquets to them.
