Pyongyang, June 20 (KCNA) -- The Sports Contest of Revolutionary Schools-2025 took place at Mangyongdae Revolutionary School from June 17 to 19.

The contest brought together more than 1 000 players selected from Mangyongdae Revolutionary School, Chilgol Revolutionary School, Nampho Revolutionary School and Saenal Revolutionary School, the training centers of the backbone of the Korean revolution.

Among the spectators were officials of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials of the youth league and armed forces organs, and teaching staff and students of the revolutionary schools.

The participants in the contest, divided into Myohyangsan, Kumgangsan, Kuwolsan and Chilbosan teams, played sports and amusement games, including shooting, tug of war, football, basketball and volleyball.

In the contest, Mangyongdae Revolutionary School won the title in the male students' category and Chilgol Revolutionary School in the female students' category.

At a ceremony of awarding prizes, pennants and citations were awarded to the excellent teams. -0-
