One day in September 2012, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un gave precious instructions on the overall work of the country to officials. At that time he talked about turfing.

Saying that turfing does not merely mean sowing of seeds after removing weeds, he personally briefed on its method.

After a while, he said that good result is unthinkable without efforts. He added that he personally turfed a lawn and took care of it in such a way as to tend a flowerpot while conducting various experiments in order to put our country in good species of turfs.

The officials were deeply moved by his remark.

The turfing methods taught by him were not those written in books but the experience and secret he had acquired in planting and cultivating turf.
