One day in May 2013, the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un visited the Songdowon International Children's Camp.

He went round various places of the camp and indicated in detail the orientation and ways for its reconstruction. Then, he learned about the period of its operation in the whole year.

After being told that the camp was run only in summer, the respected fatherly Marshal said that if the camp building was provided with proper heating system, it would be quite possible to ensure camping in winter. It would be good to make exemplary Children's Union members selected from different parts of the country enjoy camping in winter while skiing at the Masikryong Ski Resort, he added.

And he said that the start of the camping in winter at the Songdowon International Children's Camp will serve as a new camping system in the country.

Thanks to the loving care of the respected fatherly Marshal who is devoting his all to the younger generation, children could enjoy camping at the indoor wading pool of the Songdowon International Children's Camp and at the Masikryong Ski Resort in the winter season. -0-
