In July 2024, some areas of the DPRK's North Phyongan Province were hit by floods.

The respected Comrade General Secretary Kim Jong Un, together with officials, went to the spot on a rubber boat to learn about the damage of flood-hit areas.

On the rubber boat, the General Secretary made a crucial decision to clean up everything in the flooded areas and build wonderful new houses and erect a strong embankment like a fortress so as to provide the inhabitants in flood-hit areas with better living conditions.

That day, he went round the flooded areas on the rubber boat for nearly two hours.

After all, the island area in North Phyongan Province, which was damaged by natural calamities, has turned into an ideal farm city in the new era, thanks to the crucial decision made by the General Secretary on the rubber boat. -0-
