The respected Comrade General Secretary Kim Jong Un visited the inaugurated Jongphyong County Foodstuff Factory on December 24, 2025.

Saying that he would taste wheat paste and soy sauce produced by the foodstuff factory, the General Secretary headed for the production room.

He tasted the soy sauce and taught the officials accompanying him how to improve the quality of soy sauce.

Then he tasted wheat paste and said with a broad smile that the wheat paste produced by the factory tasted good like fermented soybean paste.

Hearing the reply of an official at the factory saying that it was pure wheat paste, the General Secretary said that it tasted best among those produced by the city and county foodstuff factories inaugurated that year.

The accompanying officials looked at the General Secretary in reverence, touched by his noble virtue. Working hard to provide the regional people with tasty condiments, he even tasted the wheat paste produced by a regional foodstuff factory.
