Pyongyang, April 24 (KCNA) -- On September 18, 2025 the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un guided the construction of the Sinuiju Combined Greenhouse Farm and regional development project on the spot.

Feasting his eyes on the looks of the area undergoing dramatic changes, he expressed satisfaction, saying that the strength of service personnel and young people is really great, and the area of the island, once regarded as barren land due to floods that hit the area every year, turned into a treasure island with very great potentials to effect the radical development of regional economy and the improvement of the material life of the regional people.

The respected Comrade General Secretary stressed that there should not be any slight defect in the construction of the Sinuiju Combined Greenhouse Farm as it is the largest-ever project organized by the Workers' Party of Korea for the self-supporting and many-sided development of the regional economy and its result is a crucial one directly related to the improvement of the material life of the regional people.
