Pattern of Three Animals on Children's Socks

The respected Comrade General Secretary Kim Jong Un visited the Pyongyang Hosiery Factory one day in August 2014.

Eyeing the samples of children's socks on an exhibition table, the General Secretary repeatedly said that there were many socks with animal patterns on the table and they were really lovely.

Pulling a pair of socks aside to examine their quality, he instructed the officials to produce children's socks with a pattern of animals, main characters of the DPRK's animated cartoon "The Clever Raccoon Dog".

Looking at the senior official of the factory with a smile on his face, he said it would be good to put on socks a pattern of raccoon dog, cat and bear, three friends on the cartoon film "The Clever Raccoon Dog".

The senior official, looking up to him who had a broad smile on his face as if he had pictured the children putting on socks with delight, was deeply moved by his noble intention to implant in our children the attitude of loving and valuing our own things.

Thus, socks with a pattern of three friends on the animated cartoon "The Clever Raccoon Dog" came into being. -0-
