One day in November 2021, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited Samjiyon City which was turned into a good standard of mountain cultural cities and then dropped in at the Junghung Farm.

After exchanging greetings with the officials who came to meet him, Kim Jong Un said that the farm villages in Samjiyon City including the Junghung Farm village were built to meet the needs of socialism and they passed the examination as the farmers were pleased. And he said that the new farm villages in Samjiyon City are models of the rural villages across the country we are planning to build in the future.

But even then, the officials did not know well the intention of Kim Jong Un.

That day, he said that the Junghung-ri seat village is a model rural village and standard of rural rejuvenation and it is the determination of the Workers' Party of Korea to build such a rural village not only in Samjiyon City but in all parts of the country.

He stressed that all the rural villages across the country should be built at the level of the Junghung-ri seat village, it is our fighting task and goal, not a foolish dream, and this is an undertaking to be surely carried out in our generation at any cost.

Indeed, he expressed his firm determination to bring about a radical change not only in Samjiyon City but also in the whole countryside, as he has the strong will to provide our people with wealth of lasting value and happier living conditions without fail however difficult and hard it may be.

Thanks to his sincere and steadfast will, a new era in which rural villages across the country are undergoing eye-opening changes is opening up, new civilization and new life are being brought into full bloom in the countryside, and this land is taking on a new appearance day by day. -0-
