One day in December 2016, the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un visited the newly-remodeled December 6 Children's Camp in Kangwon Province.

Going round various places of the camp, he gave precious instructions and learnt about the camping cycle and winter camping.

After hearing an official's report that there is no winter camping, he called upon the camp to organize winter camping, to say nothing of the period from spring to autumn.

He said that a bus should be sent to the camp during the winter camping so that campers can go skiing at the Masikryong Ski Resort and that if children go camping and skiing rather than playing at home during the winter vacation, it will be good to develop their bravery.

After that, schoolchildren have spent pleasant camping days at this camp in every season and trained their bodies and minds, playing skiing at the Masikryong Ski Resort in winter. -0-
