Rural Houses and Farmers' Opinions

One day in August 2020, the respected Comrade General Secretary Kim Jong Un visited flood-stricken Taechong-ri, Unpha County, North Hwanghae Province of the DPRK.

After acquainting himself with the flood damage in the area, the General Secretary kindly asked a farmer's opinion on the site for new houses.

Listening to the honest opinion, he gave an instruction on rebuilding modern well-arranged dwellings in the flood-hit villages.

After a while, he asked the farmer again what kind of a house the farmers liked.

Listening to the farmer, the General Secretary said that it is necessary to design detached and semi-detached houses for farmers and that the designs should be examined by the farmers at every work-team, not by officials.

Officials were deeply moved by his instruction full of the tender-hearted father's deep affection and love for the people.

Thanks to his warm love for the people, rural houses fully reflecting the farmers' opinions could be built in the area. -0-
