One day in December 2016, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un inspected the Wonsan Army-People Power Station.

After looking at the large artificial lake, he indicated the large letters reading "Self-reliance" on the dam. He said that his spirit really rises and the power station proved once again that self-reliance is the only way out and nothing is impossible when we hold fast to self-development as the driving force and the power station is imbued with the indomitable offensive spirit of the Workers' Party of Korea.

He said that the officials, Party members and other working people in Kangwon Province who built another power station with great capacity are indomitable fighters who proved in practice the great vitality of the principle of self-development first. Calling them creators of the Kangwon Provincial Spirit, he stressed the need for the whole country to learn from them.

Looking up to Kim Jong Un who is placing the highest trust in the people in Kangwon Province who have grown up to be indomitable fighters who are possessed of the spirit of self-reliance, the officials vowed to take the lead in upholding his intention by giving fuller play to the revolutionary spirit of self-reliance. -0-
