One day in September 2017, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited Kwail County after receiving a report that it had a great apple harvest despite the unfavourable weather conditions.

Looking at the sea of apples, Kim Jong Un asked a senior official of the county about this year's average harvest per hectare and said with satisfaction that it was great that the county produced 70 to 80 tons of apples per hectare.

Listening to the pledge of official to produce much more apples the following year, he said with a broad smile on his face that it would be good, hoping that the official would keep his word.

He enjoyed seeing apple trees for a long time and headed for the pomiculture institute.

When he was giving a detailed instruction on the trial cultivation of a fruit tree of new species in an experimental field of the institute, an official accompanying him said that as the lunchtime was over, he needed a rest.
