Pyongyang, June 8 (KCNA) -- Ryanggang Province in the DPRK planted hundreds of thousands of oil-bearing trees in hundreds of hectares of areas during the spring tree-planting campaign.

Unhung County planted more than 30 000 oil-bearing chestnut trees in tens of hectares of areas including Taeosichon Workers' District.

Kim Jong Suk County turned the creation of 10-odd hectares of oil-bearing chestnut forest into the county work.

Officials and working people in Hyesan City and Kim Hyong Jik and Samsu counties turned out as one in creating oil-bearing forests and contributed to consolidating the foundations for the development of their regional industry. -0-
